Tyler Cunningham
Property Manager, Portfolio Manager
Originally from Clarksburg, West Virginia, Tyler moved to Myrtle Beach in 2014 to attend Coastal Carolina University and has called it home ever since. He earned his real estate license at 18 and started his career in property management in 2017 as Leasing Manager at Indigo at 110, later becoming Property Manager for Aspen Heights in Conway. Tyler aligns closely with the goals of College Town Communities, focusing on delivering high-quality properties and exceptional customer service.
In his downtime, Tyler enjoys a relaxing dinner with friends or family. He is also the proud owner of a French Bulldog named Leo. His guiding life philosophy is simple: “Money is important but it's not everything. Do what makes you happy above all else.”
Matt McKindley
Senior Maintenance Technician
Matt is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has been working in maintenance for 23 years. His passion for understanding how things operate and tackling hands-on challenges has fueled his career. At College Town Communities, Matt is excited to continue applying his expertise in mechanics and problem-solving.
A lifelong car enthusiast, Matt has spent much of his life working on vehicles and enjoys projects that let him get his hands dirty. One of his first jobs was as a truck driver, utilizing his CDL, but he transitioned to a more hands-on career to pursue his true interests.
In his free time, Matt enjoys woodworking and often takes on building and renovation projects. Known for his skill in both woodworking and mechanics, Matt values the opportunity to create and fix with precision and care.
Thomas Wiggins
Maintenance Technician
Thomas is originally from Camden, South Carolina, and relocated to Conway to be closer to his family. Inspired by his father’s work in the home-building industry, Thomas developed a strong work ethic and a passion for the maintenance field. With over five years of experience, he brings valuable expertise to his role at College Town Communities.
Outside of work, Thomas enjoys riding ATVs and boats, finding these activities a fun way to unwind. A lesser-known fact about him is his hidden talent for singing, particularly country music. Over the years, he has also honed his skills in fixing cars, combining hands-on problem-solving with creativity.
Thomas started his career in the service industry at Firehouse Subs, where he gained early experience working with teams. Now at College Town Communities, he is excited to build strong relationships with staff and create a welcoming environment for residents.
Christopher Felix
Grounds & Property Porter
Chris is originally from New York but has lived locally for the past 18 years. Wanting a hands-on, active role throughout the day led him to maintenance, and he’s excited to grow within the field while learning new in-house skills at College Town Communities.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys skateboarding and considers himself an expert in knowing the top-tier Red Bull flavors. He also has a background in the skate industry, having worked at a skate shop. A fun fact about him—he has a twin sister!
If he could learn any skill, Chris would love to master using a tattoo gun. His goal at College Town Communities is to expand his knowledge in maintenance and develop new hands-on expertise.
Griffin
Student Rep
Griffin is from Ossining, New York, and is an incoming senior at Coastal Carolina University, set to graduate in May 2025. In addition to his role at College Town Communities, he works part-time at the university’s radio station. Griffin values the family-like atmosphere at College Town, where he can share ideas and grow alongside his colleagues.
To relieve stress, Griffin enjoys playing basketball, finding the fast-paced activity perfect for clearing his mind. Inspired by his father’s resilience and hard work, Griffin strives for success in everything he does.
A fan of Tongy’s Shmackhouse, Griffin always orders “The Bounty Hunter” BBQ burger. He also has a pet cat named Teddy. Known for being comedic, positive, and goofy, Griffin lives by the advice, “Where you’re from doesn’t determine where you’re going,” and believes in pushing beyond his comfort zone for personal growth.
Kaitlyn M.
Student Rep
Originally from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, Kaitlyn brings two summers of hands-on internship experience in real estate and marketing. She is eager to apply what she’s learned to her role at College Town Communities. Kaitlyn loves connecting with the amazing residents and enjoys the added bonus of being able to walk just a few steps to work each day.
In her downtime, yoga and running help Kaitlyn relieve stress. Her biggest inspiration is her family, whose unwavering support drives her to pursue her goals. A fan of King Kong Sushi in Myrtle Beach, she always orders the Spicy Tuna Roll when dining there with friends. Kaitlyn has two dogs, Lucy and Pepper, and dreams of meeting her favorite artist, Dominic Fike.
Kaitlyn lives by the advice, “Treat others how you want to be treated,” and strives to embody kindness in all that she does. Known for being charismatic, nonjudgmental, and kind, she believes that kindness breeds kindness.
Sebastian
Student Rep
Sebastian is from Central, New Jersey, and brings a year of hands-on experience in door-to-door sales, where he developed strong communication and customer engagement skills. He enjoys the flexibility of gaining real-world experience while balancing his full-time studies at Coastal Carolina University. The convenience of being close to home is the perfect fit for his lifestyle and goals.
Sebastian relieves stress by cleaning, finding the process therapeutic for both his space and his mind. He draws inspiration from those around him, especially people who pursue their passions wholeheartedly. His two dogs, Jolle and Harper, keep him company along the way.
Sebastian values the advice, “Progress is impossible without change; those who don’t change will never see progress.” Known for being compassionate, light-hearted, and resilient, he is always focused on growth and achieving his goals.
Jessica
Student Rep
Jessica is from Mountside, New Jersey, and is currently a senior at Coastal Carolina University. She joined College Town Communities six months ago and enjoys the dynamic nature of her role, from capturing social media content to organizing engaging resident events.
To relieve stress, Jessica enjoys going to the beach with friends or running on the treadmill, which helps her clear her mind. She finds inspiration in her future self, always striving to grow and achieve her goals.
Jessica lives by the advice, “Always try your hardest, in anything you do,” and approaches every challenge with determination and enthusiasm. Known for being positive, creative, and driven, she values the variety and opportunities her role brings each day.
Emily
Student Rep
Emily is originally from Guilderland, New York, and is currently a junior at Coastal Carolina University, where she studies Marketing and Communications. Alongside her role at College Town Communities, Emily balances an internship with Freshprints Custom Apparel Company and recently served as the social media chair for a non-profit sailing organization.
Emily loves the opportunity to meet new people and help plan the many exciting events for residents and their guests. When she needs to unwind, she enjoys taking peaceful walks on the beach.
If she could learn any skill, Emily would love to master surfing. Known for being positive, outgoing, and kind, she brings a warm and welcoming energy to her work.
Grace
Student Rep
Grace is from Connecticut and has spent the past two summers lifeguarding with the YMCA. She also has experience in email marketing for a DSP company. Excited to be part of College Town Communities, she looks forward to learning new skills and being part of such a welcoming team.
To unwind, Grace enjoys going for walks or getting lost in a good book. A fan of Italian food, her go-to meal is fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. At home, she has two dogs, Maisey and Moose, and a cat with multiple names—though she personally calls him Meow.
A fun fact about Grace is that she has a twin brother! She’s eager to grow in her role and embrace the sense of community that College Town Communities offers.
